Become a Recycling Ambassador
Join fellow recycling enthusiasts to learn from industry experts and have the chance to reduce waste in Anoka County. The free program is held twice a year through a virtual classroom on Tuesday nights for 6-weeks.
Participant responsibilities
Participants agree to attend all classes. After completing the course, graduates agree to volunteer 30 hours of public outreach. Volunteer hours is what makes the Recycling Ambassadors program special. Participants put their skills to work by helping others learn to reduce their waste and create a better environment.
Unexpected absences policy
Attendance is required at all six classes; however, we understand that unexpected situations may arise that prevent you from attending class. Please let the program coordinator know if you are going to miss a class. If you miss two or more classes, you will be dropped from the class with an opportunity to participate in a later training session if space allows.
