How To Obtain

To obtain a certified copy of a marriage certificate from Anoka County, the marriage license must have been purchased in Anoka County.

• You can purchase a certified copy of a marriage certificate at the Government Center Vital Records Office. 
• You can order a certified copy of a marriage certificate by mail or fax. Send the Marriage Certificate Request Form (PDF), along with the required fee and the Vital Records Credit Card Form (PDF) to the Government Center Vital Records Office.
• You can order a marriage certificate online at the MN Official Marriage System (MOMS)® website. Search for the record you need and then order it through MOMS®.

To obtain a certified copy of a marriage certificate, you will need to provide:

• Prior to August 1, 2014, bride's full maiden / prior name
• Prior to August 1, 2014, groom's full name
• August 1, 2014 and after, the applicant's full name
• Date of marriage

Required Forms

• Download and print the Marriage Certificate Request Form (PDF)
• If submitting an order by mail or fax, download and print the Vital Records Credit Card Form (PDF)
• Or, order the certificate through the MN Official Marriage System (MOMS)® website

Required Fees

• $9 for each certified copy.
