Housing Support
If you are looking for housing resources please contact the Housing Help Desk at 763-324-1490.
Housing Support is a State-funded income-supplement for qualified participants that can help pay for housing and housing supports. Housing Support pays for rent, utilities, household needs and, under some circumstances, food and/or services for people who have low income, are over 18 years old and have a disability or are over 65 years old.
Before the funds may be used, the participant, the living situation, and provider must meet statutory eligibility requirements. Eligibility of a provider for Housing Support funding is determined by Anoka County Community Social Services and Behavioral Health. Participant eligibility is determined by Anoka County Economic Assistance and is based on income, assets and disability.

Are you looking for subsidized housing options?
Subsidized Housing
Subsidized housing is a form of rental assistance for those who are eligible and have low to moderate incomes. Subsidies work on the premise that renters should not pay more than 30% of their gross income for housing. Assistance can take several forms including individual housing vouchers, project-based assistance, public housing and tenant-based assistance just to name a few. Subsidy programs are usually administered by Housing and Redevelopment Authorities (HRA’s) or Public Housing Authorities (PHA’s).
