- 80-hour course
- Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
- Hands-on arc welding using short circuit and spray pulse methods
- Safety, equipment knowledge and other variables covered
- MIG Welding 3G Certifications through the American Welding Society
- Forklift and OSHA 10 Safety Certifications
- Vocational counseling support services to help you succeed in the training and extensive support to help you find a good job
Eligibility
- 18 years of age or older
- Justice Impacted - broadly defined as anyone that feels their justice involvement is a barrier to employment, including multiple moving violations and complete program assessments
- Committed to finding full-time employment
- Physically able to stand for an 8-hour shift, bend and lift
Cost: No cost to eligible participants who meet program criteria.
