Anoka County Farmers Market Certificates

Anoka County SHIP is piloting a Farmers Market Certificate Program in 2022! Participants who register will receive eight $20 certificates that can be used at participating farmers markets in Andover, Blaine, East Bethel, and Ramsey from July 10th - September 3rd, 2022. Registration opens on May 30th, 2022 and goes until June 24th or when all funding has been claimed, whichever comes first. 

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and will close once all funding has been distributed. Only one registration per household will be accepted. The person who registers must be an Anoka County resident. You will receive a confirmation email with a Welcome Packet if you have been accepted into the program. Program Details

Registration opens May 30th, 2022 and goes until June 24th, 2022 or when all funding has been claimed, whichever comes first. Participants will receive eight (8) $20 gift certificates that can be redeemed at participating farmers markets. A Welcome Packet and the certificates will be mailed to participants prior to the program start date of July 10th, 2022. All certificates must be redeemed weekly on the coordinating dates printed on each certificate:

  • Week 1: July 10th - July 16th
  • Week 2: July 17th - July 23rd
  • Week 3: July 24th - July 30th
  • Week 4: July 31st - August 6th
  • Week 5: August 7th - August 13th
  • Week 6: August 14th - August 20th
  • Week 7: August 21st - August 27th
  • Week 8: August 28th - September 3rd

If you redeem your certificate for Anoka County Bucks at the farmers market and do not spend all of them during that visit, you can use those Bucks any time you visit the market through the end of the program. All Anoka County Bucks must be redeemed by September 30th, 2022. Certificates can only be redeemed at participating markets. See below for a list of participating markets and instructions for how to redeem. 

You can buy any SNAP-eligible foods available using Anoka County Bucks at the farmers market. These include fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, fish, eggs, dairy, honey, jams, jellies, pickles, baked goods, and seeds and plants that produce food. This does not include hot prepared items or alcohol.

A post-survey will be open to participants September 6th – September 16th, with $20 incentives for completing to be sent September 19th – September 23rd.

1. Go to the Information Booth at the Farmers Market. Bring your Anoka County Farmers Market Gift Certificate.
2. Exchange your certificate for Anoka County Bucks to use at the Farmers Market.
3. Shop for eligible food at the Farmers Market.
