Save the date for a business-focused meeting to learn about this year’s construction! If you are unable to attend, you can join us at the general public meeting that same day. More information will be provided about both meetings in early February.
Wednesday, February 28 7:30-9:30 a.m. Ramsey City Hall, 7550 Sunwood Dr. NW, Ramsey
Construction is anticipated to begin in mid-March 2024. Now is a great time to start thinking about how you’ll keep your employees, delivery drivers and customers informed about accessing your business as the project is being constructed.
If you don’t already have social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) set up for your business, consider doing it now. You may also want to consider temporary signs/banners to promote that your business is open during construction.
Stay Informed During Construction
The project team's top priority is ensuring that all impacted businesses are aware of the project and kept informed throughout construction. A business owner-focused open house will be held Wednesday, February 28, 7:30-9:30 a.m. at Ramsey City Hall to share information related to the Stage 2 construction at Sunfish Lake Boulevard. More information about this meeting will be mailed to impacted businesses and shared via the project email updates as it is confirmed.
Additionally, during construction, the project team will hold monthly business meetings where you can listen to project staff give an update on completed and upcoming work and discuss any questions or concerns with the project team. The timing of these meetings has not yet been decided but will be shared once confirmed.
Throughout construction, Mikaela Isaacson, the project's business liaison, will serve as the main point of contact for any construction concerns or questions. She will provide you with advanced notice of any impacts to your business and work with you to minimize them as much as possible. She will also work with the team to provide you with information and materials such as access maps, social media content, or other content that helps communicate construction-related information to your employees, suppliers and customers. Please contact her with any questions, concerns or material requests.
General construction updates will also be posted to the website and sent out to subscribers via email and text. These updates will be useful for planning ahead to keep your employees, customers, and suppliers informed about access to your business. Subscribe now to ensure you receive the most up-to-date information throughout construction.
