The Anoka County Board of Commissioners establishes county policy and provides oversight for the county budget and operations.

Board members are elected to four-year terms and represent separate districts. Current board members are:

Meetings

Anoka County Board meetings are held twice monthly, typically the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held in Room 705 of the Anoka County Government Center.

In-Person Attendance

Members of the public are invited to attend Anoka County board meetings. To get to the board room, please take the public elevators to the 7th floor.

Recorded board meetings are available for viewing later - search for "Anoka County Board Meeting." Recorded board meetings are also broadcast on the local public access channel of many cable TV systems in the county.

Public Comments

Following every regular board meeting, commissioners will hold a public comment period. This is an opportunity for public members to comment, ask questions, present a concern, or make a statement specifically related to Anoka County business. Agendas & Minutes

Agendas are available before the meetings. Most agendas include a full packet of meeting materials. Minutes are available following approval. See Agendas and Minutes for County Board Meetings.
