Locating a Private Attorney

There are various ways to find a good attorney. These include referrals from friends / relatives, local bar associations, lawyer referral services, law firm websites and online lawyer directories. Each individual attorney makes his/her own arrangements with you in providing legal services.

Attorney Association Websites

• Anoka County Bar Association of Minnesota - The Anoka County Bar Association of Minnesota website has a listing of attorneys that are members of the local organization. The list is offered both in alphabetical order by the attorney's last name or by the area of practice, i.e., family law. Click on the "Find a Lawyer" link at the left side of the screen.
