When arriving at the courthouse, you will need to locate the courtroom in which your hearing will be held. Please check the electronic "Court Assignment" monitors and courthouse maps located throughout the building. You may also check with the information desk in the courthouse building.
Ramp Parking
A county parking ramp is available for public use at a charge of $2 per hour. Entry into the ramp is on Van Buren Street (the north side of the ramp). Only the first floor of the parking ramp is open to the public. All other floors are for contract parking. If you park in a reserved parking spot, you will be towed. Once you have parked, you can enter the Government Center from the ramp. Entrance to the courthouse from the Government Center is available only on the first floor.
Street Parking
Free, limited street parking is available within walking distance to the courthouse. Watch for street signs relating to hour limitations. Immediately surrounding the courthouse there are two-hour parking limitations.
Note: Court hearings often exceed this two-hour period. Street parking is monitored by the City of Anoka Police Department. You may gain entry to the courthouse building through the first floor of the Government Center at the main entrance located on Third Avenue.
