The Anoka County Opioid Solutions Initiative (ACOSI) was established to respond to the misuse of opioids in Anoka County. This group, which is composed of people with lived experience and professionals from organizations throughout the community, is managing Opioid Settlement Funds that were allocated to Anoka County as part of the multi-state settlement agreement with more than a dozen companies that manufactured, sold, or distributed prescription painkillers for their roles in fueling the opioid crisis.
